Megan and Liz's new single "In The Shadows Tonight" is one of MTV'S 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs Of The Week! Take a look! And it's the Number 1 Must hear pop song too!

1.) Megan & Liz, "In The Shadows Tonight"

Megan & Liz, our favorite li'l YouTube darlings-turned-bonafide pop starlets, are back! After dropping "Release You," their catchy, Max Martin-produced #BANGER earlier this summer ("Goodbyeeeee!"), the girls have decided to slow down the tempo and delve into darkness. "In The Shadows Tonight," which was co-penned by the sister act and produced by frequent Disney pop act producer John Fields, finds the girls slipping away into the shadows of their minds -- all the while pumping massive, arena-sized '80s power-pop ballad hooks throughout. It's probably their most mature moment yet, and it's a nice place to find some solace.

On a side note, today I heard "Release You" on the radio for the first time and I screamed on the inside! Thanks 20 on 20!

Megan and Liz opened up to M Magazine to talk us through bullies, fake friends and being yourself! Take a look!

Have you ever had to deal with a fake friend? Are you worried you and your BFF are growing apart and you don't know how to stop it? M asked you on Twitter what kinds of friendship situations you needed advice on, and when we hung out with Megan & Liz, we had them answer some of your toughest questions.

The singing duo knows exactly where you're coming from — Megan even shared a specific story about a time when her friends were mean to her. The best advice that transcends through every situation is this: be yourself and do what's right for you.

What's one thing every teen girl should know?

"Every teenage girl should know they're beautiful," Liz told M. "You just really need to stay focused on who you are. Don't compare yourself."

How do I deal with fake friends?

"Don't take it personally," Megan advised. "The reason girls are being fake to you is because they have something else going on that they don't know how to deal with, so they take it out on you."

What can I do if my friends aren't being very good friends to me?

"[Bullying] has less to do with you than you think," Megan said. "Keep being yourself and try to stay positive because it's all you can do. You can't control what [a bully's] doing."

How do I get someone to notice me? How do I put myself out there more?

"Being outgoing and putting yourself out there is definitely hard to do but just start up a conversation," Liz suggested. "Just say you like someone's shirt. Really, it's a lot easier than you think."

Can you share a story about a time you stood up to your bully?

"In sixth grade, we were on a class trip to a water park. I had two friends who would randomly ditch me all the time," Megan confessed to M. "They decided to ditch me at the water park, on the lazy river, so I was there by myself. I was done with it so I went and hung out with a bunch of other girls. I was just done being the girl they didn't want to have around."

 How do I stop me and my BFF from drifting apart?

"People do change," Liz told M. "Things change really quickly [when you're a teen] and sometimes that means losing friends. You just have to work through that and figure our who's there to stay."

My friend and I are fighting over the same guy and I'm worried it could ruin our friendship. What can I do?

"First of all, never let a guy ruin a friendship!" Megan said. "Guys come and go but your friends are always there. Honestly, I would say just forget the guy!"

How do I make friends and push myself to be less shy?

"Get involved! If you're into singing, try out for the musical," Megan said. "If you're into dancing or cheerleading, then thats how you meet your best friends." Liz chimed in, "That's how you really get to know yourself!"

Is there anything I can do if my BFF doesn't want to be friends with me anymore?

"Honestly, you can't control what other people are doing and other peoples' actions. The best thing you can do is keep being yourself, how you were when you were still friends," Megan advised.

What's your best advice on getting through and staying positive?

"I know it's so hard but just know that school is tough but in the end, focus on yourself and you'll be fine," Liz told M.
